Total Return Not Equal Capital Gains Plus Dividend

In the Share Checker page, why does Total Return not match Capital Gains plus Dividends?

I guess I am missing something in my understanding.

For example, here is IOZ over 10 years compounded.

Hi @Destroya the reason is because you’re using compounded. Individual component return will only sum up to the total return when using simple calculation.
