Hi there, I have over 500 stocks, and am finding that sharesight takes over one minute to display data when I change parameters such as “since first purchased” … I have to look at the grey boxes in the screenshot attached. I am a bit surprised … maybe bad internet connection or I am doing this at a bad time. Anyone else with similar experience?
Yes, I’ve had this issue since day one. Changing browser might help. I found Safari to be faster loading than Firefox. Both lag, but Safari seems quicker.
In last 3 or 4 months, Sharesight website has become noticeably slower than previously.
@bwg010 is this happening to any particular portfolio? I did a test all your portfolios can be loaded under 15 seconds. Consolidated view under 25 seconds.
I have 4 portfolios but mostly only look at one consolidated view of 2 of the portfolios, totalling around 38 equities. Mostly looking at change since “yesterday close”.
I use a label to exclude sold equities that have no current holding, but to include sold parcels current holdings. (But that’s not a new approach for me.)
Today, performance seems tolerable – about 20 – 25 secs to display the overview screen.
Refresh seems to take longer for some reason.
My experience is subjective, not measured.
But definitely generally longer to load over last few months versus my previous sense of it (over several years).
I use Win 11, with Edge, and a vpn, with 100Mbs NBN connection (cable) – but that’s been the case for quite a long time – and not changed recently.
No noticeable issue on other websites.
So… if you don’t know of anything changed at your end, it’s a bit of a mystery.
But at times it tests my patience.
oops: the comments about label etc apply to running the Performance REport - not the “overview”.
Ignore that bit.
Just took 25 secs or more to simply display the “Reports” screen ie the initial screen for selecting a report. Nothing to do with portfolio.
Would expect that to be almost instant.
