Two holdings of one stock in the same portfolio

Is there a way to accommodate two holdings of one stock in the same portfolio? I have one holding in Chess and another (inherited) holding that is still issuer sponsored. I will probably merge them, but there is history that needs to be collected separately for the two holdings for CGT reasons.

Currently if I try to add an opening balance for a stock that already exists in a portfolio, I can’t proceed.

@djb21au there isn’t a way to do this, as it would show under the one stock. You would either need to add in the inherited shares to a different portfolio, or create a custom investment to reflect these shares.
