Support different sale allocation methods in the "Sold Securities Report"

• What feature do you want to see in Sharesight?
Allowing different sale allocation methods in the “Sold Securities Report”.

• Why do you want it?
In Spain capital gains from sold securities are taxed with the FIFO criterion, that is: the cost base is not your true cost base but that of your first buys, up to the amount you’re selling. When you have different mismatched buy and sell transations, it’s very cumbersome to allocate buy prices and comissions. Aussies seem to have it sorted out on Sharesight with an ad-hoc report, but we’re out of luck here in Spain

• How is this affecting you?
Lots of manual bean counting for tax time.

• Do you currently have a workaround solution? If yes, what is it?
I don’t.

• Can we reach out in future to ask follow up questions about this idea?
Yes.

Same as @carsanbo

I live in Ireland but previously in the UK, and what would be very helpful for me (and simple to implement) would be simply the capability to be able to choose FIFO as the ordering principle when reporting gains / losses in the sold security report. This is not the same as a fully tax reporting compliant CGT report, but for me at least, it would solve 95% of my problems, and I can easily adjust to account for the rest. The same FIFO option (but with a £ currency base) would have been very helpful when I lived in the UK as well.
