S32 demerger

I know it’s a long time ago but I’m trying to fix my fathers handwritten records. How can I enter the 2015 s32 demerger in regards to BHP.

Hi @Salpal

  1. Go to BHP holding page

  2. Select Enter a new trade or adjustment

  3. Trade type: Adjust cost base

  4. On the Demerger Calculator, enter the ratio 92.9 : 7.1 into This Holding:New Holding,

  5. Take note of the Cost Base Reduction amount

  6. Go to S32 holding page

  7. Select Enter a new trade or adjustment

  8. Trade type: Opening balance

  9. Total cost base of S32 = Cost Base Reduction amount taken from BHP

  10. Hit Save trade
