I would like to suggest adding labels to cash accounts in order to be able to preclude a cash account when running reports.
We have our portfolio’s sorted by Asset class and run our reporting via legal entity using labels allocated to each legal entity. We currently cannot exclude the cash accounts from any report as they are unable to be applied to an entity via label.
Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback @AllieS23. You want to understand the allocation to each asset class ex-cash accounts, is that correct?
Yes correct. If I could apply labels to the cash accounts it would solve all my problems. ![]()
Got it thanks @AllieS23
Can we please have the ability to toggle off cash accounts from overall portfolio value calculations? In my case the cash account feed value (from my Accountant’s Xero system) is only accurate once per year, when my accountant manually updates it. He needs it to be present in Sharesight for the various reporting functions at tax time, but for the rest of the year, inclusion of an out-of-date bank balance is positively misleading.
There will be other scenarios where including cash balance in overall portfolio value is misleading also - for example when the reported contents of the account, even if accurate, are substantially offset by current liabilities.
