When comparing fund performance in Sharesight, it would be useful if Sharesight indicated when a fund has not been available for the entire comparison period.
For example, I can currently compare the 2-year performance of:
- 28609 – Kernel Total World Fund
- 25636 – Simplicity Unhedged Global Share Fund
However, this comparison can be misleading because the Kernel Total World Fund only commenced in August 2026 and therefore does not have a full 2-year performance history.
Could Sharesight display a note or warning next to a fund when it has not been available for the entire comparison period, such as:
“Fund has not been available for the full 2-year comparison period.”
Or, more simply:
“Fund not available for 2 years.”
Ideally, Sharesight could either exclude the fund from that comparison or clearly flag it so users don’t mistakenly interpret the comparison as a genuine 2-year performance comparison.
I think this would be a useful addition to the fund comparison feature.
Thanks
