I purchased a Canadian stock, BCE, via my TD Ameritrade Account. TD shows this trading on NYS, and the trade is in USD, so I selected NYS in Sharesight, which accurately shows the stock price. However, the only way the dividend automatically appears is to choose BCE via the Toronto stock exchange, which then forces me to force in a conversion rate. Shouldn’t the dividend also show through the NYS selection?
Also, even when I do enter the dividend manually, it shows as Canadian dollars. But my transaction is completely USD. While TD may be doing conversions, I don’t see any of it.
