Import upcoming dividends into iCal or preferred calendar

• What feature do you want to see in Sharesight? - Long wished for feature - your upcoming dividends get imported into your iCal or preferred calendar
• Why do you want it? - Many of our dividends get paid in Sept and March as our primary source of income. It would be fantastic to be able to see cashflow (ideally excluding franking credits but no big deal either way)

• How is this affecting you? At the moment, I manually put the dividends in on the dates that have been announced for payment. To be able to have this auto-installed into my calendar by perhaps simply running an .exe file or similar from the upcoming dividends tab (your guys would know a far better way than I would) would be brilliant. I could see at any time which dividends are due when in my iCal (Apple) calendar I use multiple times daily for appointments/reminders etc.
• Do you currently have a workaround solution? If yes, what is it? Yes, manually put in when dividends are announced. Not ideal as user error is possible (i.e: laziness to miss putting it in) but also the future divs from Sharesight shows the gross payout (including franking credits). Ideally, just a net payment figure would be preferred.
• Can we reach out in future to ask follow up questions about this idea? Of course. fwiw, I did suggest this about 6 years ago I’m guessing and it seemed well received by the forum and Sharesight but never seemed to make the cut. I think many would love the feature even though not currently one they would consider.

Overall, as a 25+ year investor and Sharesight user for about 16 years, it’s the #1 suggestion I have for any investor. Start a free Sharesight account and eventually, they’ll upgrade when their portfolio gets large enough. It offers incredible functionality, wonderful value and I have felt like part of the Sharesight community for all the time I have used it. Thank you to the team for developing and improving this brilliant offering for investors (in this case, primarily ASX). It’s one of my best moves as an investor and we are grateful!
