I’ve noticed that the date selector on the new Future Income report page makes no sense.
Today is 9 July 2025.
If I select
- “Next 12 months” I get 9/7/25 to 9/7/26 - that’s logical
- “Next Year” I get 1/1/26 to 31/12/26 - that’s logical - maybe should be state calendar year to be consistent with other labels below.
- “Next 7 days” I get 29/06/2025 to 05/07/2025 - WRONG
- “Next month” I get 01/08/2025 to 31/08/2025 - ok, but different behaviour to “Next 12 months”
- “Next quarter” works
- “Today” gives me 29/06/2025 - WRONG
- “This month” gives me last month - June 2025
- “Past year” gives me 30/06/2024 to 29/06/2025 - not logical at all
- “Since inception” gives me until 29/06/2025 - again, not logical
- “Last calendar year” and “Current calendar year” both look good
- “Last financial year” looks ok as does “Current financial year”
I would expect “Next month” to give me from today for a month, not the next calendar month.
So, what’s up with the ones that aren’t correct? Is it just me?
I think the date picker needs some urgent attention.
