Combining Sharesight data with AI to assess and manage a portfolio. I tried to do this with using a general AI platform, ChatGPT. It was not of value as the data generated through AI was not current, so the end product ended up being unreliable. Though with the correct data it showed how powerful it could be. There may be firms that provide some sort of AI support but it seems they want money and I need to experiment first to determine what information set works best for me. Has anyone a comment to make which will assist?
Hi @bernardcarmody when you say portfolio management, is there a specific area like analysing performance, reconciling cost base, monthly reporting, or just in general?
Hi Ricky, it is setting up the portfolio with a mix of domestic and international equities, ETFs and Fixed interest. bonds, AI is useful because it handles volume data well and can do comparisons of general matters but it fails because it does not have live data, and the current pricing, yield etc is dangerously wrong. So I was hoping to see if there was a way of using AI with Sharesight’s current data to assist me.
On a related note, I have being trying to engage with a human on what should be a simple matter, but the BOT seems determined not to let me through. Can you help? The details are as follows:
In the past I received advice to run specific portfolio reports as shown below. I need to know the identifier for the new grouping I have created called PortfolioJuly2025. The earlier instructions recieved were
