# Xero tracking category functionality

• What feature do you want to see in Sharesight?

Xero tracking category functionality

• Why do you want it?

In my Xero file all my share trading transactions are tagged with a tracking category called “Shares”. After Sharesight has synced a transaction I have to manually edit it to add the tracking category. This is annoying.

• How is this affecting you?

It means I am needing to edit all share trades and add the tracking category.

• Do you currently have a workaround solution? If yes, what is it?

I manually edit each share transaction and add the tracking category.

• Can we reach out in future to ask follow up questions about this idea?

I also would like this feature for the same reasons
