# Sharesight for prev bought shares

Hi if i bought shares in previous years and for example trying to do my 2022 tax return and sold shares on 1st august 2021, will sharesight report cover that?  
Because from what i heard if i bought shares previous years sharesight wont cover that and just make it so that the person bought and sold shares in the same relevant financial year?
