• What feature do you want to see in Sharesight?

With the weekly portfolio email report, please include the overall change, ie change for the week and change since purchased. Also display the $ value change not just the the percentage.

• Why do you want it?

It is useful to know how much a stock is up or down for the week in $ and well as since holding.

• How is this affecting you?

Have to login and review. The idea of receiving a portfolio email update should mean you can quickly review and move on.

• Do you currently have a workaround solution? If yes, what is it?

Login and review the loss/gain since holding in Sharesight or NABTrade.

• Can we reach out in future to ask follow up questions about this idea?

Yes

Hi @Melbourne_Money_Man thanks for the feedback. The currently weekly portfolio shows:

- Price
- Total holding value
- Capital gain % (weekly change)
- Dividend % (weekly change)
- Currency % (weekly change)
- Total return % (weekly change)

And you want to include:

- Capital gain $ (weekly change) is that per share change or total capital gain change?
- Ditto for dividend
- Ditto for currency
- Capital gain $ (change since inception) per share or total change?
- Ditto for dividend & currency

Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct. You only really total capital gain or loss, I don’t think people care on a per share basis.

Thanks Ricky.

I would like the ability to choose the columns received in the automatic portfolio summary email, for example, Current toal Capital Gain $ and % for all open holdings from date of purchase of those open shares (. Identical to what the result already is in the manually run unrealised capital gains report. Also, I like the idea of choosing how often the report runs, for me weekly is fine, but I might drop down to monthly if it were an option.
