Sharesight has some useful reports. When using the Diversity Report for example, one option is to report by Sector. Unfortunately the Sectors listed do not clearly correlate with the standard GICS Global Industry Classification System core 11 Sectors.
I realize Sharesight is used in many countries but in Australia at least, most fund managers, ETF providers and commentators use the simple 11 core Sectors for reviewing asset allocation / diversity. Shouldn’t Sharesight use this too?

The GICS structure consists of 11 sectors, 25 industry groups, 74 industries and 163 sub-industries into which S&P has categorized all major public companies. The system is similar to ICB (Industry Classification Benchmark), a classification structure maintained by FTSE Group.
