# API Cash Transaction Date

Hi,

I have API access and am trying to do a bulk upload of 20 years worth of cash transactions. There aren’t that many transactions really (only about 400 per account).

In any case, I keep running into issues with the transaction date when I post my new cash transactions (the timezone info for the date doesn’t appear to be honoured by the end-point and the date is sometimes off by 1 day as a result). I highlighted the issue in a few comments in [this thread](https://community.sharesight.com/t/offline-backup/402/11) - is my date format incorrect in some way?

My reference for how I have constructed my request body is taken from the [sharesight api documentation.](https://portfolio.sharesight.com/api/2/doc/index.html#api-User_API_Cash_Accounts-CashAccountTransactionCreate)
