Hi Team,
For the recent Altium takeover, do I simply place this as a “sell” trade in Sharesight with no brokerage cost? When i open up the email pertaining to the sale it notes a “capital payment” and a lump sum figure and doesn’t have any information on the amount of shares or the price.

I recorded mine as a “cancelation” which according to the notes is classed as a sale. Not sure if thats 100% correct but seems logical

Hi @JJB, @mark_from_briz is correct on this one. You have to add a cancellation trade at the returned capital rate per share to close the position.

I have just tried to record in Sharesight the cancellation of the Altium shares. I could not save the transaction despite checking and re-checking the inputted details. Any clues as to why not?
