# ADR to VIE share conversion

Hi,

I bought some US listed Alibaba ADR shares during the year. I have now converted these to the Hong Kong listed VIE shares shares. As this dual listing is fungible it is just a case of converting each US listed ADR share to 8 Hong Kong VIE shares.

Does anyone know how i can manage this transfer in Sharesight? I could delete the old US listing and just add new trades for the same dates for the Kong Kong listed shares at an 8 to 1 ratio but the correct currency conversions will to be recorded.

Hi @David15, I believe the merge tool should be able to do this for you:
